Busy weekend in Rhode Island at South County Kennel Club, Inc. supported entry, and Friday at Pawcatuck Labrador Retriever Specialty. The weekend started with Ginny, Rockycreek & WillOMoor Custom Made CGCA TKI, going best in Sweeps under judge Jeanne Charest. Trexler, GCHB Rockycreek’s Trail of Memories JH CGC TKN, went Select Dog under judge Laura Witts.

Saturday Ginny, went Reserve Winners and Trexler went Select Dog under judge Sherry Anderson.

Finished the weekend with 3 Big Bangs!

Ginny went winners bitch and her father Trexler went Best of Breed, under judge Cheryl Curtis! Then Trexler went on to get Sporting Group 2 under Sporting Authority judge David Kittredge!!!

All of the other Rockycreek girls, Glory, Freeze and Shine won or placed in their classes all 3 days.

Thank you to our friends who stepped in to handle our dogs in final line ups, Tom Flaherty, Ellen Shearer, Jen Harmon, and Hank Kang it takes a village!

Our first Hunt Test of the season is in the books! Three of our four dogs passed! Next week it’s two days off hunt training then cleaning up dogs, packing and off to the Speciality shows in Rhode Island!

Feeling accomplished! 3 of our 4 dogs passed their Junior Hunt test today under judges Mario Cilia & Betty Dust at First State Retriever Club Spring Hunt Test.

Jersey earned her first leg.

Freeze earned her second leg.

Ginny handled by her co-owner Kimberly Horn earned her first leg.

Congratulations to all the other competitors! Thank you to all the volunteers and the First State Club for a fantastic and well run hunt test.
